In September, I, Tracy, had the privilege to spend time with our teachers in Haiti. We shared a meal together and then talked about our hopes and dreams as educators. Through these conversations, I learned that some of the basic supplies we take for granted in our classrooms are the ones they have on a wish list. This school year, we were able to provide each classroom with a basic school supply kit, but my goal is to provide even more. Items like construction paper, paint and brushes, musical instruments, and books (in French or Creole) would add so much to what our teachers can do with the students each day. We would love for all of you to be a part of this project, so we have created an Amazon Wish List that allows you to order what we need and have it sent directly to our office.
