What can you do with $5? Perhaps you can buy a cup of coffee, a breakfast sandwich, or maybe a quick lunch from the dollar menu at McDonald’s.
But did you know that you can do so much more with only $5? At our Mission Possible schools in Haiti, it costs $.25 to feed lunch to one student. That’s right, only a quarter! So what would it cost to feed that student lunch for one month? Drumroll please…. only $5.00!
Hopefully that encourages you to think about how your $5 can make more of an impact than just a quick meal for yourself. On Giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise enough money to provide each of our 3,000 students lunch for one month. We encourage you to join in and put your $5 to good use!
