Over the summer (and even now) it is extremely difficult to travel to Haiti, and it was also very difficult for our staff and students to get around their own country. Because of the political unrest, we have cancelled teams and events that we normally have in the summer and fall including many of our leadership activities.

Last spring, we were able to send a team to Haiti and they helped teach our Good Choices Leadership along with our Student Leaders.  The University of Findlay’s Head Basketball Coach, Charlie Ernst, lead the teaching with two of his players.  They talked to our students about nutrition and healthy habits, being a good friend and humility, and becoming a leader all while sharing God’s Word.  A big thank you to them as they helped us continue equipping Christ-centered leaders.  Please be praying for our students, staff, and leaders as they currently face many difficulties in their country.
