After being unable to travel for 2+ years, a small team from North America was finally able to travel to the Dominican Republic to serve alongside our staff, students and friends. Our team members helped them work on building a new church building, taught a few leadership seminars, played soccer with kids and honored our teachers for their dedication to the ministry. During the COVID-19 lockdown, our teachers in the Dominican Republic went above and beyond to continue giving their students a quality education by using resources such as WhatsApp and even making “house calls” to deliver materials. It was wonderful to get our boots back on the ground and be able to hug our friends in the DR, and thank God for the safety and ability to do so.
