A note from one of our child sponsors.
Receiving the updated picture of my sponsor girl was awesome for more than one reason. Not only is it always fun to get any type of mail regarding her, but the best part is that when I was in Haiti visiting her school, I actually stood there and watched her get that picture taken! The translator introduced us afterwards, and right when she heard who I was and gave me a big hug! It was one of the best experiences of my life, and so surreal to know that she knows me by name just like I know her! It is even more special to have her updated picture hanging on my fridge, and to pray over her little life every day, because she’s more than just a face in a picture to me now. I can hear her laugh and feel her hug. It’s amazing how much I love this sweet little girl and I am constantly in awe of the way God knit our hearts together even though we’re miles apart!
